 Sometimes when I'm looking for a new sound I'll just drop by a Habitat For Humanity store or Goodwill to look for inexpensive items that may give me a new sound or ideas for one. I paid a buck for the chicken timer in the picture to the left and got some great timer ticking sounds from it using my Audio Technica BP4029 shotgun mic. One of the sounds I made was a ticker loop and you can hear below.
The sound is available on AudioJungle for purchase. After I finished the sound I took the timer out to my grandkids little kitchen set up in my garage. They love their new chicken ticker! Comments are closed.
