Sony PCM-A10 Recorder

Ok I admit it.  I love electronic gadgets....especially if they relate to audio recording.  I picked us the fairly new Sony PCM-A10 portable recorder recently and I'm glad I did.  What a handy little recorder that fits easily into your pocket.  There have been so many times in the past where I wished I had a quality recorder in my pocket to capture a sound and I just didn't.  I have no excuse now!  This little guy will be on my person or at least in my car in the future.  I was recently in a coffee shop and it was the perfect opportunity to capture some coffee shop ambience from my table.  It turned out great!  With a little post production it was good enough to put on AudioJungle to sell as a sound effect.  It also has the ability to record with external mics and I've ordered the LOM mikroUsi stereo Lav to use with it.  I've read several really good articles that speak of this combination.  More to come!
