I had a fun recording session this past week making lots of different blood sound effects including the sound below of blood slowly dripping on the floor. I created blood splatter, blood pouring and blood spilling sound effects for my various libraries. These sounds are available for purchase on AudioJungle. Take a listen to blood dripping below! Happy Halloween!!!! While we were in Portland, Maine we ventured downtown and with my trusty Zoom F3 recorder and Audio Technica BP4025 stereo microphone I was able to capture some urban sound effects including a couple of different city busses. Take a listen below to one of them where a city bus approaches, stops and runs idle while picking up passengers and then drives on down the road. This sound is available for purchase on AudioJungle. While we were in Sydney, Canada we met Glenn who was playing his bagpipes for the tourists. I had a nice chat with him and he was gracious enough to pull away from the group and give me a very nice rendition of the classic Christian hymn "Amazing Grace". He also allowed me to record him playing some traditional Scottish songs. Take a listen below to his version of "Amazing Grace". I just returned from a 10 day Cruise to New England and up into Canada. We visited several coastal cities including Providence, RI, Boston, Portland Maine, Saint John Canada, Sydney Canada and Prince Edward Island Canada. It was a nice trip and I was able to capture a lot of different sounds on the adventure. I'll be uploading them to AudioJungle the next few days. I took this shot of the ship to the left after we had stopped in Saint John. Always good to break away but always so good to be back home! Take a listen to the sound of the ship moving through the Atlantic Ocean below. My three year old grandson Cameron gets a real kick out of large trucks and especially enjoys watching the garbage truck come and pick up trash each week (we babysit each Thursday & Friday). Yesterday we sat out on the porch and waited for them with a microphone and recorder to record them. I snapped the picture to the left after they had picked up our trash and were leaving our street. I was also able to get a sound of the truck passing from right to left. Both these sounds are available on AudioJungle. Cameron's voice and laughter is often heard on the popular (over 100 million subscribers) children's YouTube channel "Vlad & Nicki". Take a listen to the trash pick up sound below. We're Very happy to announce that we now have 12,000+ sounds available for purchase on AudioJungle! Woohooooo! Each week our library of sound effects and music tracks grows and we are proud to have reached this new benchmark. It represents many hours of diligent, creative hard work but we have enjoyed every minute of it. Check out our current portfolio on Audiojungle. Looking forward to adding new and creative sounds to our current library. Thanks for checking out our sounds! If you have a suggestion for a particular sound you need please feel free to email me from the About page. Happy to help if we can. This is my youngest grandson Cameron holding my Fender Strat. I have a nice collection of various instruments and Cameron loves to hold my guitars and pretend to play. The neat thing about this guitar is most likely it will be his one day. I promised his dad (my son-in-law) that I would pass it on to him one day. Hopefully his dad will keep it in the family and pass it on to Cameron in time. The Fender Strat is one of my go to guitars to use when producing rock related tracks. It's a great guitar and certainly one of my favorites! Go Cam! Out of 10,000+ creators Audiojungle selects a featured creator each week. We are delighted to have been chosen for this week and that automatically puts us in AudioJungle Hall of Fame. We're closing in on having 12,000 sounds on AudioJungle and each week our library grows. We have our productions on several sites but AudioJungle is by far our best platform to sell our sounds. Thanks Audiojungle for the shout out!
This past week I spent a week with my family down at Ocean Isle Beach, NC. This was our 40th year in a row that we've spent a week of July there. We have made many memories through the years and it's extra special to now have our 6 grandchildren enjoy the beach with us. I have four sisters and they came with their children and grandchildren and we also have cousins from the Atlanta area who join us each year. It's quite a large group when we all get together! I usually take my recording equipment and try to get a few sounds each year. This year I recorded a nice rain/thunderstorm one evening. This sound is available for purchase on AudioJungle. Take a listen below: This past week I took a trip to Santee State Park in Santee, SC for a few nights. Santee State Park is right on Lake Marion, which is a large, beautiful Lake surrounded by lots of wildlife. My back yard is pictured on the left and it reminded me of a scene from the 60's TV show "Gilligan's Island". It was very swampy and I can only imagine how close a gator or two were from my cabin. On my trip I got to see a couple of armadillos, some wild hogs, deer and fox squirrels. Each night I would set up my recording gear to get some night sounds including sounds of the frogs croaking away. Take a listen to the frogs below. This sound is available for purchase on AudioJungle. |
