![]() Sometimes when I'm looking for a new sound I'll just drop by a Habitat For Humanity store or Goodwill to look for inexpensive items that may give me a new sound or ideas for one. I paid a buck for the chicken timer in the picture to the left and got some great timer ticking sounds from it using my Audio Technica BP4029 shotgun mic. One of the sounds I made was a ticker loop and you can hear below. The sound is available on AudioJungle for purchase. After I finished the sound I took the timer out to my grandkids little kitchen set up in my garage. They love their new chicken ticker! ![]() I got some new sounds of automobile electric car seats adjusting. Using my X1 BMW along with my new Audio Technica BP4029 shotgun mic and Zoom F3 I captured several different sounds of the seats moving and adjusting. In addition to using these sounds for vehicle sounds, they can also be used for servo-motor sounds in spaceships and other sci-fi vehicles or doors. These sounds are now available for purchase on AudioJungle. Take a listen to one of the sounds below! ![]() I spent some time walking through creek water a few days ago along with my boom pole, Audio Technica BP4025 microphone and Zoom F3 recorder. I certainly appreciated wearing my rubber boots. The water was shallow and perfect for recording the sloshing/splashing sounds. I recorded several different sounds of walking from a leafy creek bank into the water and then walking from the water onto the bank and ending with several footsteps on leaves and sticks. The creek runs just a few houses down from my home so it was extremely convenient to capture the sounds. Take a listen to a couple of the sounds below. These sounds can be purchased on AudioJungle. ![]() I love a good microphone and the Audio Technica BP4029 stereo shotgun is a really good mic and I'm happy to add it to my collection. I'm looking forward to using it to capture more sound effects outdoors but I've been busy using it in the studio the last few days. Take a listen below to some of the sounds I've captured this week including: Match Strike, Champagne Cork, Opening Storm Door, Opening Kitchen Drawer and Paper falling from desk. These sounds are available for purchase on AudioJungle. ![]() I produced a number of stretching sound effects using a latex glove and my Audio Technica BP4025 microphone and Zoom F3 Recorder. After some processing in Logic Pro X I mixed some in stereo and some in mono. They are now available for purchase on AudioJungle. Take a listen to a few of the sounds below. |
