Mark Teachey

Apple Hill Studios is owned and operated by Mark Teachey.

Mark grew up in Wallace, NC and from a very early age developed a fascination with music and audio equipment.  He got his first guitar at age 9 and within a short time began to compose his own songs. It was about this time he discovered his uncle's 1960's reel to reel tape recorder.  He was hooked!  Since that time, writing, recording music and sounds has been one of Mark's passions.  

​Through the years Mark has enjoyed producing music and various audio products through his businesses Windwood Productions and Starcatcher Music ​.  Starcatcher Music was later sold to Kidmusic.com where Mark's music continues to bring joy and fun to little children through his line of children's personalized songs.

In 2010 Mark opened Apple Hill Studios with a concentration on producing commercial music tracks and in 2014 he fulfilled a life long dream when he began producing and selling sound effects.  Mark sells his music and sounds through a number of online sites including AudioJungle, Elements, & Pond5.  In fact, Mark is now one of AudioJungle's top ten authors (out of over 10.000 authors) and his music and sounds are now heard world-wide in thousands of projects and literally by billions of people.  Each week Mark adds new productions to his ever-growing library.
